RESOLUTION NO. 21-1242 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF QUARRY LANE AND SERPENTINE LANE AS 4 HOUR LIMITED TIME PARKING ZONES WHEREAS, Pleasanton Municipal Code §11.36.210 allows the City Council to designate any street or portion thereof as a limited time parking zone; and WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code §22507 permits cities to restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles on certain streets or highways, or portions thereof, during all or certain hours of the day; and WHEREAS,the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1722 §1, 1997; (Prior Code § 5-3.51) to establish a four-hour limited time parking zone. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The on-street parking area (100 linear feet) directly in front of 1228 Quarry Lane is hereby designated as a four-hour limited time parking zone from 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday; and The on-street parking area (120 linear feet) directly in front of 1057 Serpentine Lane is hereby designated as a four-hour limited time parking zone from 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on September 21, 2021.
