EXHIBIT A Scope of Services I. TVRT Services 1) Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre (TVRT) will produce in fiscal year 2021/2022 one (1) production, and ten (10) performances of the production in partnership with the City of Pleasanton's Civic Arts Presents Program. 2) TVRT shall secure the rights for a pre-existing script and adaptations of pre-existing work. 3) For the 2021/2022 Season TVRT will produce the following one (1) show: Spring: (Damn Yankees) 4) TVRT shall provide all Artistic and Stage Director services; as such, TVRT shall cast each show, conduct rehearsals, work with designers and carry out the artistic vision for the show and the program overall. 5) TVRT shall provide one production stage manager to coordinate rehearsals, technical aspects and "call" each show. TVRT shall also provide an ASM/props person to further enhance the supervision of the production. 6) TVRT shall provide all design elements reasonably necessary including: a. Set Design - TVRT shall contract with a Set designer and builders to create a set appropriate for each production at its scene shop or other offsite location. In the rare circumstance elements must be built on-site, City of Pleasanton must be notified as soon as possible and will make every effort to provide adequate space (it is understood that assembly of scenes and touch up paint will be needed onsite for every production.) TVRT will coordinate with theater tech staff to deliver all design elements to the Firehouse Theater at previously scheduled dates and times to coincide with production schedule. b. Costume Designer or Coordinator—TVRT shall contract with a Costume designer and builder to create, rent, or "pull" all costumes appropriate for this production. TVRT will keep whatever costumes it "builds". c. Lighting Design - TVRT shall contract with a Lighting designer to create light plot, supervise light hang and focus and work with the Stage Director to create cues to enhance theatrical production. Lighting designer will use only existing lighting equipment inventory of the Firehouse Theater, unless agreed to in advance by City of Pleasanton. City of Pleasanton may elect to execute light hang and focus with City Tech Staff only OR with approved contracted staff. Firehouse to provide color gels. d. Props - TVRT shall acquire all props needed for each production, either by renting, building or purchasing each prop. TVRT will keep whatever props it "builds". e. Choreographer, Music Director, High Quality Recorded Musical Tracks —for musicals, TVRT shall also provide these additional elements. f. TVRT will provide special skills (puppetry, fight choreographer, etc) as reasonably required by specific production. g. Sound designer/operator—City of Pleasanton will provide a qualified staff person, at City's sole expense, to fill this position. City will make a concerted effort to make
