III_ I I <br /> PLEASANTON. <br /> October 5, 2021 <br /> Community Development <br /> TITLE: ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 21-1241 <br /> SUMMARY, BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION <br /> Resolution 21-1241 was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on September 21, 2021 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: Councilmembers Balch, Narum <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> Resolution No. 21-1241 amends certain policies of the Downtown Specific Plan with <br /> respect to the Active Ground Floor Use Overlay (AGFUO) and was accompanied by <br /> Ordinance No. 2222, introduced on September 21, 2021, which amended sections of <br /> the Pleasanton Municipal Code (PMC) AGFUO, in alignment with Resolution 21-1241. <br /> Ordinance No. 2222 indicated that it would take effect 30 days after its passage and <br /> adoption, but Resolution No. 21-1241 specified that it would become effective 60 days <br /> upon its passage and adoption. The purpose of this Resolution is to align the effective <br /> date of Resolution No. 21-1241 to be the same as Ordinance No. 2222. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the resolution amending Resolution No. 21-1241. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> No fiscal impact to the City or public service is anticipated with adoption of this resolution. <br />
