MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> Councilmember Narum reported at the Tri-Valley City Council meeting a representative from the <br /> California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) spoke about Regional Housing <br /> Needs Assessment (RHNA) reform. She requested when the City Managers meet that there be <br /> discussion on how the region is going to influence and be part of the conversation. She requested the <br /> item be placed on the agenda for discussion at the next Tri-Valley Mayors meeting to determine how <br /> the Tri-Valley as a region can participate in the discussion. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Arkin reported she will be attending a joint school district and City Liaison meeting on <br /> September 30 and a Livermore-Amador Water Management meeting on August 18. She reported <br /> attendance at the StopWaste meeting for Councilmember Balch and the Tri-Cities meeting. <br /> Councilmember Narum reported she participated in the East Bay Community Energy audit and <br /> attended the Tri-Valley City Council meeting. <br /> Councilmember Testa reported attendance at the Tri-Valley City Council meeting, the Alameda County <br /> Mosquito Abatement meeting, National Night Out, and the quarterly meeting of nonprofits with <br /> CityServe. <br /> Mayor Brown reported attendance at a Tri-Valley Transportation Commission meeting, Women's <br /> Council meeting, and school district liaison meeting. She reported hosting the Mayor's Report on TV30. <br /> She reported meeting with Senator Steve Glazer and staff to discuss the housing and State bills. Lastly, <br /> she attended the virtual Washington D.C.
