9. 7200 Johnson Drive I Commercial <br />P17-0967 I Costco <br />Application for Design Review to construct a new 148,613 -square -foot Costco. <br />Application is on hold and will be reconsidered by the City Council in late 2019 pending <br />completion of supplemental environmental review for the Johnson Drive Economic <br />Development Zone due to a legal challenge. (Please also see Item 28, for additional <br />information on the JDEDZ Lawsuit). <br />• Status <br />Under Review <br />• Next Steps/Details: <br />Design Review application submitted Spring 2018. <br />Design Review resubmitted May 2020. Placed on hold <br />pending outcome of second JDEDZ lawsuit. Lawsuit <br />resolved in City's favor on November 13, 2020. 60 -day <br />appeal period must expire before moving forward. <br />Lawsuit decision appealed in January 2021. Appeal <br />determination expected Fall 2021.
