SECTION 3. The Chief of Police shall either grant or deny <br />a permit for each applicant within ten (10) days after receipt <br />thereof, and in the event that a permit is denied the applicant <br />may request that the matter be reviewed by the City Council. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. ATTENDANCE. <br /> <br /> No minor admitted to a teen-age dance shall be permitted <br />to leave and thereafter re-enter the dancing premises during the <br />course of the event, and no pass-out checks shall be issued unless <br />required by the physical arrangement of the premises. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5. USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES--PROHIBITED. <br /> <br /> No alcoholic beverages shall be sold, consumed, or be <br />available on the premises in or about which any teen-age dance is <br />held. Admission to a teen~age dance shall be denied to any person <br />showing evidence of drinking any alcoholic beverage or who has <br />any alcoholic beverage on his person. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6. TIME LIMIT FOR DANCES. <br /> <br /> No dancing at any teen-age dance shall be permitted <br />after the hour of 12:00 ' <br /> o clock midnight. On special occasions <br />permission may be requested to extend the time of a dance for an <br />additional hour. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7. PARTICIPATION OF ADULTS PROHIBITED. <br /> <br /> A person 20 years of age or over shall not attend any <br />teen-age dance as a participant. This does not prohibit the <br />attendance of chaperones or sponsors. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8. LOITERING. <br /> <br /> Any person who loiters around or about the premises at <br />which a teen-age dance is being conducted is guilty of a mis- <br />demeanor. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9. RIGHT OF REVOCATION OF PERMIT. <br /> <br /> The Chief of Police shall have the right to forthwith <br />revoke any permit granted under the ter~rs of this Ordinance and <br />close the premises wherein dancing is conducted in the event that <br />any of the provisions of this Ordinance are violated during the <br />conduct of a dance held under a permit heretofore granted therefor <br /> <br /> SECTION 10. SUPERVISION BY POLICE. <br /> <br /> If in the discretion of the Chief of Police the circum- <br />stances connected with the granting of the permit warrant, the <br />sponsor may be required to provide a dance supervisor or super- <br />visors, as he shall determine, who shall be a person or persons <br />assigned by the Police Department and paid by the sponsor of the <br />dance. <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br /> <br /> <br />
