The committee reviews and prioritizes potential <br /> projects, provides input on policies related to bikeways and trails, and promotes community <br /> education and awareness regarding non-motorized forms of transportation. <br /> Meeting Time: Fourth Monday of each month at 6:45 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd., Pleasanton <br /> Representative: Commissioner Pace <br /> Alternate: Commissioner Brown <br /> Civic Arts Commission <br /> Promote the acquisition, construction and installment of works of public art in Pleasanton. <br /> Make recommendations to the City Council regarding the City Civic Arts Program. <br /> Meeting Time: First Monday of each month at 7 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: City Council Chamber, 200 Old Bernal Ave., Pleasanton <br /> Staff Contact: Michele Crose, Asst. Staff expects to return in October <br /> to present the results of that initial evaluation and list of prospective sites and then in <br /> November/December with a list of sites to be considered to be carried forward into the required <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) analysis for the project. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> Staff is recommending that the Commission review and provide a recommendation on the <br /> select sections of the draft Preliminary Report for the 6th Cycle (2023-2031) Housing Element <br /> Update as presented in Exhibit A, including any refinements or clarifications. In addition, staff <br /> is seeking the Planning Commission's input regarding other refinements or additions to the <br /> Housing Elements Goals, Policies and Programs list to be brought back at a later date for <br /> Housing Element Update Planning Commission <br /> 10 of 11 <br />d early <br /> input/discussion in order to streamline future review of the Housing Element prior to its <br /> adoption. <br /> The Commission is also requested to provide input on the initial list of policy items identified <br /> below, including topics that it may wish to suggest should be studied or further evaluated as <br /> part of the Housing Element Update. These are areas or topics that have risen in interest or <br /> concern since the last Housing Element Update, or that have been mentioned in prior <br /> discussions with City Commissions and/or the City Council, for which consideration could be <br /> given in future policy discussions for new/modified goals, policies, or programs: <br /> Housing Element Update Planning Commission <br /> 9 of 11 <br /> the matter comes back before <br /> the Planning Commission.
