CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 508 <br /> <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 478 (WATER SERVICE <br /> RATES) PROVIDING CREDIT FOR VACANT HOUSES, <br /> BUILDINGS ~ DWELLING UNITS, AND BUS INESS <br /> QUARTERS WHERE SUCH UNITS ARE NOT METERED <br /> SEPARATELY <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 478 at Section VI (Connections <br />to Water System), paragraph 3, subsection b, is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br /> "3.b. Through a single service connection to supply all <br /> of such houses, buildings, dwelling units, and <br /> business quarters, and in which case one monthly <br /> minimum charge shall be applied for each such <br /> occupied house, building, dwelling unit or business <br /> quarter, and the responsibility for payment of <br /> charges for all water furnished shall be assumed <br /> by the consumer having such control or management. <br /> Credit tor such vacant units which are not metered <br /> separately but together with the occupied units <br /> shall be computed by deducting one monthly minimum <br /> charge for each vacant unit from the original total <br /> monthly bill for all of the units ." <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
