These draft changes are to be incorporated as draft changes shown for PMC Section 18.81.050. Procedures for Obtaining Zoning Certificate Approval - New Text Proposed in PMC A new section to PMC Chapter 18.81 is proposed, outlining the procedure for obtaining a zoning certificate for a use subject to the overlay. The proposed text in Chapter 18.81.040 indicates that the Director of Community Development may, in response to an application for zoning certificate for any business that is subject to the overlay, request additional information to verify compliance with the provisions of the policy and code. The additional information that is required could entail a written narrative that identifies the proposed operation of the use, including confirmation of a point-of-sale system and proposed business hours and a dimensioned floor plan that identifies the leased square footage for each use, along with a copy of the lease agreement. The draft text in the PMC also indicates that the Director may request that the applicant provide other information in support of the application, if deemed necessary to demonstrate conformance with the policy and provisions of the code.
