THE CITY OF PLANNING COMMISSION LEASANTON p MEETING MINUTES APPROVED Wednesday, July 28, 2021 This meeting was conducted via teleconference in accordance with Governor Newsom's Executive Orders N-20-20 and N-35-20 and COVID-19 pandemic protocols. CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL The teleconference meeting of the Planning Commission of July 28, 2021 was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Chair Brown. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Morgan. Staff Members Present: Shweta Bonn, Senior Planner; Ellen Clark, Director of Community Development; Melinda Denis, Planning and Permit Center Manager; Julie Harryman, Assistant City Attorney; Stefanie Ananthan, Recording Secretary Commissioners Present: Commissioners Nancy Allen, Matt Gaidos, Ken Morgan, Jeff Nibert, Brandon Pace and Chair Justin Brown Commissioners Absent: None AGENDA AMENDMENTS There were no agenda amendments. CONSENT CALENDAR - Consent Calendar items are considered routine and will be enacted by one motion unless a request for removal for discussion or explanation is received from the Planning Commission or a member of the public by submitting a speaker card for that item. 1. Actions of the Zoning Administrator Commissioner Allen moved to approve the Consent Calendar. Commissioner Pace seconded the motion. Commissioner Gaidos seconded the motion. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Allen, Brown, Gaidos, Nibert, and Pace NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Resolution PC-2021-11 recommending City Council approve the application for a major modification to Planned Unit Development (PUD-114) and minor subdivision for Cases PUD-114-01M and P20-0995 was adopted, as motioned. Resolution PC-2021-12 recommending City Council approve the application for a Conditional Use Permit for Case P20-0994 was adopted, as motioned. Chair Brown congratulated the applicant, stated this was a beautiful project in an appropriate location and acknowledged the level of collaboration both with the community and between the churches to create a special place within the community where they continue to give back to the community through all their work and outreach.
