Actions of the City Council <br /> Ms. Clark noted there had not been a City Council meeting since the last Planning <br /> Commission meeting, therefore there were no items to report. <br /> 7. Future Planning Calendar <br /> Planning and Permit Center Manager Melinda Denis gave a brief overview of future items for <br /> the Commission's review. <br /> Commissioner Pace referenced Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) numbers and <br /> inquired when that might come back before the Commission. Ms. Clark explained that the City <br /> filed an appeal, which was in the review period and public hearings would be scheduled in a <br /> month or two. She stated once concluded, staff would report back to the Commission. <br /> Commissioner Pace inquired on the status of litigation around the Johnson Drive Economic <br /> Development Zone (JDEDZ). Ms. Denis stated she would provide an update at the next <br /> meeting but anticipated a decision to be made in October. Commissioner Pace asked the <br /> process if the RHNA numbers were reassessed. Ms. Clark responded that the project <br /> approvals would remain valid and assumptions about approval of the Costco project would be <br /> included into future analysis of Housing Element sites. Commissioner Pace questioned <br /> whether approved projects would be reconsidered if the RHNA numbers changed.
