Ms. Clark anticipated parklet approvals would consider <br /> future street improvements. Chair Brown reminded the Commission that outdoor dining <br /> encroached on foot traffic and suggested discussion with the City Traffic Engineer. Ms. Clark <br /> further mentioned the most recent City Council meeting was the first in-person meeting for staff <br /> and the Council with a hybrid model for public participation, not knowing when t the <br /> Commission might return for in-person meetings. <br /> 6. Future Planning Calendar <br /> Planning and Permit Center Manager Melinda Denis gave a brief overview of future items for <br /> the Commission's review. <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> Commissioner Allen noted downtown businesses in disrepair and inquired how the <br /> Commission should deal with that or what staff could do proactively to work with property <br /> owners. Ms. Denis suggested immediate notification of hazards.
