RESOLUTION NO. 21-1227 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, ADOPTING <br /> THE FY 2021/22 and FY 2022/23 OPERATING BUDGET <br /> WHEREAS, biannually the City Council adopts a two-year operating budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, at a public meeting on June 1, 2021, staff presented a report regarding the <br /> recommended Operating Budget for FY 2021/22 and FY 2022/23. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1: Council adopts the FY 2021/22 and FY 2022/23 Operating Budget provided in Exhibit <br /> A. <br /> Section 2: Budget up to three percent wage increases for Management and Confidential <br /> employees in FY 2021/22 using monies included in the General Fund contingency and <br /> commence evaluation of proposed increases by the City Council at a future closed session <br /> and public hearing. <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> Section 4: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of <br /> original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a <br /> regular meeting held on June 15, 2021. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of June, by the <br /> following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> `- /.(</ti Karen D az, City Clerk, <br /> APPROVED ' TO FORM: <br /> c) <br /> Daniel Sodergren, City Attorney <br />
