Adopted and waived full reading of Resolutions No. 21-1213, 21-1214, 21-1215, 21-1216, and <br /> 21-1217 approving the Engineer's Reports for Landscape Maintenance Districts 1984-1 <br /> (Ponderosa-Del Prado), 1993-1 (Windsor), 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch), 1994-1 (Oak Tree Farm) and <br /> 1995-1 (Moller Ranch); declaring the intention to assess properties for the cost to operate and <br /> maintain the districts; and setting June 15, 2021, at 7 p.m. as the date and time for the public <br /> hearing <br /> Finance <br /> 7. Adopted and waived second reading of Ordinance No. 2215 amending Title 3 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code to add a new Chapter 3.44 establishing a Johnson Drive Economic Development <br /> Zone (JDEDZ) Transportation Fee <br /> Operations Services <br /> 8. Approved and authorized City Manager to execute the purchase order of a flusher truck from Vac- <br /> Con, Inc. in the amount of$344,178.59 <br /> 9. Approved and authorized City Manager to execute the purchase order of a rotary mower from Turf <br /> Star Western in the amount of$111,112.14 <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Brown/Arkin to approve the Consent Calendar with the exception of Item <br /> 5; and with the amendments to Item 3 indicating Councilmember Balch's support of reevaluating <br /> D.A.R.E. and SROs, and the inclusion of the Bernal Community Farm's MOU. Motion passed by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> 10. Public Comment - None <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> 11. Continued from May 4, 2021 —Adopt and waive second reading of Ordinance No. 2214 amending <br /> Municipal Code Chapter 1.22 to add a $1,000 voluntary campaign contribution limit and decrease <br /> the existing voluntary campaign expenditure limit to $24,000 for a council member candidate and <br /> to $30,000 for a mayoral candidate *Councilmembers Balch and Narum voted "no" <br /> City Attorney Dan Sodergren reported this is the second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 2214 <br /> voluntarily regulating campaign finance contributions and expenditures. He advised it was introduced at <br /> the April 20th meeting and is being brought back for a second reading outside of the Consent Calendar <br /> because the vote was not unanimous. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Arkin/Testa to adopt and waive second reading of Ordinance No. 2214 <br /> amending Municipal Code Chapter 1.22 to add a $1,000 voluntary campaign contribution limit and <br /> decrease the existing voluntary campaign expenditure limit to $24,000 for a council member candidate <br /> and to $30,000 for a mayoral candidate.
