RESOLUTION NO. 21-1215 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DECLARING THE INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE LIGHTING & <br /> LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1993-1 WINDSOR FOR FISCAL YEAR <br /> 2021/22; DECLARING THE INTENTION TO CONTINUE THE LEVY AND COLLECTION <br /> OF ASSESSMENTS; AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways Code, <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has described proposed improvements to be included <br /> for the determination of annual assessments levied for Lighting and Landscape Maintenance <br /> District No. 1993-1 Windsor, created under the Lighting & Landscape Act of 1972, and ordered <br /> the preparation of an Engineer's Report to determine the annual levy of assessments for such <br /> District; and <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways Code, <br /> the Engineer has filed with the City Clerk a Preliminary Engineer's Report for the Lighting & <br /> Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-1 Windsor for Fiscal Year 2021/22. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Engineer is designated by this Council as the Engineer of Work <br /> for Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-1, Windsor, during fiscal year 2021/22. <br /> The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council intends to continue to levy and collect assessments within <br /> Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-1 Windsor, during fiscal year 2021/22. <br /> SECTION 3. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br /> described as follows: <br /> Maintenance of the masonry walls, trees, shrubbery, groundcover, and irrigation systems situated <br /> on the northeast side of Tapestry Way and Minton Court, Lot A in the northwest corner of the <br /> subdivision and also Lot C in the southwest corner of the subdivision. <br /> SECTION 4. In accordance with this resolution directing the filing of an annual report, <br /> the City Engineer has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting <br /> Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of <br /> the improvements, the boundaries of the assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land <br /> within the assessment district. <br /> SECTION 5. On Tuesday, the 15th day of June 2021, at the hour of 7:00 pm, the City <br /> Council will conduct a public hearing on the question of the levy of the proposed annual <br /> assessment. The Council meeting will be held in accordance with Government Code Section <br /> 54954(e). To improve access to public information, residents may access meetings remotely <br /> through the City's website. <br />
