RESOLUTION NO. 21-1212 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING <br /> THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ADOPT A JOHNSON DRIVE ECONOMIC <br /> DEVELOPMENT ZONE TRANSPORTATION FEE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 2215 which adds a new Chapter <br /> 3.44 to the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding a Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone <br /> Transportation Fee; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 3.44.040 of Chapter 3.44 provides that the amount of the fee shall <br /> be established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. A new subsection I is added to section XI (Development) of the Master Fee <br /> Schedule to read as follows <br /> I. Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone Transportation Development <br /> Fee <br /> (This fee is due at time of building permit issuance for new construction in the <br /> area subject to PUD- 105, adopted by Ordinance No. 2171) <br /> Retail (per square foot) $26.78 to $38.16 <br /> Office (per square foot) $13.69 <br /> Hotel (per square foot) $14.12 <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective at the same time as Ordinance No. <br /> 2215 becomes effective. <br /> SECTION 3. This fee is to fund specified capital projects which were considered by the <br /> City in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Johnson Drive Economic <br /> Development Zone, certified by Resolution No. 17-976. Therefore, no further environmental <br /> review is required pursuant to 14 Cal Code Regs § 15273(b). <br /> SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on May 4, 2021. <br />
