STATE OF CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTION GENERAL PERMIT: The State of <br /> California's Construction General Permit Order 2009-0009-DWQ requires any <br /> construction project that disturbs one or more acres of soil to obtain coverage under the <br /> permit. To apply for coverage, the applicant must utilize the Stormwater Multiple <br /> Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS) available at the following website: <br /> https://smarts.waterboards.ca.gov/smarts/faces/SwSmartsLogin.xhtml <br /> Once all required documents have been uploaded, SMARTS will issue the applicant <br /> a Waste Discharger Identification Number (WDID), which shall be printed on <br /> the improvement plans as evidence of permit coverage. The applicant shall adhere to all <br /> permit requirements associated with site clearing, grading, stockpiling, and excavation <br /> work to protect the City's drainage network from stormwater pollution. (Project Specific <br /> Condition) <br /> 44. TRASH COLLECTION: The plans shall indicate where trash collection (bin storage) and <br /> pick-up will occur in collaboration with Pleasanton Garbage Service. Assure that any <br /> enclosures constructed to house the bin storage are constructed with roofs, and that <br /> locking gates assure adequate security from illegal dumping. Also assure that access to <br /> the bins for refuse pick-up will not compete with vehicle traffic for those visiting the <br /> campus. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> 45. DECOMMISSIONED WATER SERVICES/LATERALS/METERS: Any existing water <br /> services and/or water laterals to be permanently decommissioned shall be disconnected <br /> at the City's water main and abandoned in accordance with City Standard Specifications. <br /> Decommissioned water meters shall be returned to the City of Pleasanton's Operations <br /> Services Department. The applicant shall terminate utility billing for all removed meters <br /> and be credited back for any decommissioned meters per the project's Development <br /> Agreement. (Project Specific Condition) <br /> Design <br /> 46. DESIGN PER CITY STANDARDS: All public improvements shall be designed in <br /> compliance with the City Standard Specifications and Details in effect at the time of the <br /> issuance of the encroachment, grading, or subdivision permit, whichever occurs first. <br /> 47. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL: The Conditions of Approval shall be depicted on a plan <br /> sheet(s) in the improvement plans. <br /> 48. GEOTECHNICAL CONSULTANT — DESIGN CERTIFICATION: The applicant shall <br /> comply with the recommendations of the project geotechnical report. The applicant's <br /> California licensed geotechnical engineer shall review and approve all foundation, <br /> retaining walls, drainage and geotechnical aspects of the final grading and improvement <br /> plans and shall certify on the plans or as otherwise acceptable to the Director of <br /> Engineering/City Engineer that the plans are in general compliance with the <br /> recommendations of the project geotechnical report.
