The draft PPP was presented to <br /> the Housing and Planning Commissions on May 12th and May 13th respectively. Due to <br /> the timing of these meetings relative to publication of the City Council agenda report, a <br /> summary of public and Commissioner comments and/or concerns will be provided to the <br /> City Council under separate cover. The draft PPP is now being presented to the City <br /> Council as the final opportunity to provide input on and refine the proposed plan. <br /> Role of the Planning Commission, Housing Commission and City Council <br /> As part of the Housing Element update process, the City Council considered the overall <br /> scope of work for the Housing Element and directed that the Planning Commission would <br /> act as the lead advisory board to guide the detailed development of the Housing Element <br /> (versus a separately appointed task force), with input from the Housing Commission, and <br /> frequent consultation with the City Council.
