Specifically, effective July 11, 2020, classic local fire members shall contribute an <br /> additional one-half percent( 0. 5%) of their CaIPERS reportable compensation toward the <br /> employer share (12. 5%total employee contribution). <br /> Attached are the following sections of the memorandum of understanding between the <br /> Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Joint Powers Authority and the International Association <br /> of Fire Fighters Local 1974: cover page, table of contents, the pages addressing the change to the <br /> existing cost-sharing amount and the signature page. <br /> Please contact me if you have any questions or require additional information.
