CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 488 ZONING UNIT NO. 63, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 309 (ZONING ORDINANCE) AND "ZONING MAP" OF SAID ORDINANCE, RE VOLK-McLAIN ANNEXATION NO. 53 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The "Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton", dated April 18, 1960, as adopted in Section 3.3 of Ordinance No. 309, designating and dividing the City of Pleasanton into zoning districts, is hereby amended as follows: Zoning Unit No. 63, as shown on map dated June, 1967, on file with the City Clerk, a copy of which is attached hereto as EXHIBIT A and made a part hereof, and Application RZ-67-4, shall be designated the land use and zoning districts of said territory. SECTION 2. Said territory and zone classification, as amended, is further described as follows: Two hundred ninety-five acres, more or less, all located within proposed Annexation No. 53, bounded by Volk-McLain Industrial Subdivision on the north, Hopyard Road on the east, the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the south, and Alamo Canal on the west, classified as R-l, Single Family Residential District, except for two C-N Districts described below. C-N, Neighborhood Commercial District, .9 acres in the northwesterly corner of proposed Los Positas and Hopyard Roads. C-N, Neighborhood Commercial District, 5.5 acres located southwesterly of the intersection of Los Positas and Hopyard Roads. SECTION 3. The above-described land is presently unincorpor- ated territory, and is prezoned pursuant to §65859 of the Govern- ment Code of the State of California. Such zoning shall become effective at the same time that Annexation No. 53 becomes effect- ive. INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on June 5, 1967.
