. . <br /> fit ,4tecfed At- <br /> G//4/67 <br /> CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 486 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION <br /> OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, <br /> DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 49 <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby make the following <br /> findings : (a) On March 27, 1967, the Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 67-59 giving notice <br /> of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City <br /> of Pleasanton. Said territory was designated as Annexation No. 49, <br /> and did describe the boundaries of the territory proposed to be <br /> annexed. <br /> (b) Said Resolution No. 67-59 contained a notice of <br /> the time and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> hear protests made by any person owning real property within the <br /> territory proposed to be annexed. Said time of said hearing was <br /> not less than fifteen nor more than sixty days from the date of <br /> passage of the Resolution. <br /> (c) On May 15, 1967, and May 22, 1967, at the hour of <br /> 8:00 P.M. , in the Council Chambers at the Women's Club Building, <br /> southwest corner of Vineyard and Regalia Avenues of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, the said City <br /> Council did conduct a public hearing and pass upon protests made. <br /> By Resolution No. 67-95 the City Council determined that protes <br /> had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the <br /> privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the <br /> last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half <br /> of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be <br /> annexed as determined by said legislative body. <br /> - 1 - <br />
