CONCLUSION <br /> The City of Pleasanton in collaboration with Townsend Public Affairs has taken a <br /> strategic approach to advocacy efforts. This approach has allowed the development of <br /> key relationships with legislators engaged in the housing arena and have garnered the <br /> City of Pleasanton with a reputation for being highly engaged in the area of housing and <br /> local control with an approach that is thoughtful, providing constructive comment and <br /> examples of how proposed legislation will impact the City of Pleasanton. Adoption of <br /> this resolution will provide further clarity of the City's positions on these issues as well <br /> as further assist in our advocacy efforts. <br /> Following a decision by the City Council, City staff and Townsend Public Affairs will <br /> provide the resolution to our Tri-Valley Cities coalition partners, the League of California <br /> Cities, State Senator Glazer and State Assemblymember Bauer-Kahan and make <br /> available on our City website. <br /> Submitted by: Approved by: <br /> *„ikw-L-j. <br /> Becky Hopkins Nelson Fialho <br /> Assistant to the City Manager City Manager <br /> Attachments: <br /> 1 .
