Section I - CITY <br /> <br />1.01 <br /> <br />1.02 <br /> <br />1.03 <br /> <br />1.05 <br /> <br />1.06 <br /> <br />Connection Location <br />CITY agrees to require the developer of Tract 6563 to connect into COUNTY's <br />existing CS^ sewer system. <br /> <br />Connection Inspection <br />CITY agrees to inspect Tract 6563 connection(s) to the existing CSA sewer <br />system. <br /> <br />Notification of Connection to CSA Sewer System <br />CITY agrees to notify COUNTY within 30 days of any connection to the CSA <br />Sewer System. Said notice shall be in writing and sent by prepaid first class mail <br />to: Public Works Agency, Special Districts Administration, 399 Elmhurst Street, <br />Hayward, CA 94544. <br /> <br />Sewer Main Ownership <br />After the sewer main system, including all manholes along the sewer main, on <br />Foothill Road between the CSA pump station and Oak Lane, as shown on <br />Exhibit A, is improved to CITY standards, CITY agrees to accept ownership. <br />The ownership shall include operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of <br />said sewer main system. <br /> <br />COUNTY Sewage Regulations <br />CITY agrees to comply with COUNTY Ordinance Code, Title 7, Chapter 11, <br />Sewage Regulations for County Service Area R-1967-1. <br /> <br />Buy-In Costs <br />a. CITY agrees to pay COUNTY, prior to connection to the CSA sewer <br /> system, the proportionate share of the initial costs to plan, design and <br /> construct the CSA pump station and force main. COUNTY has estimated <br /> said costs to be $149,063.76 for connection completed in 1994-1995 <br /> Fiscal Year. <br /> <br />b. Said buy-in costs are computed as follows: <br /> <br />38 connections at $3,738.52 per unit <br />Administrative costs per transaction <br /> Total: <br /> <br />$142,063.76 <br /> 7,000.00 <br />$149,063.76 <br /> <br />CITY agrees to pay the full amount as stated in subparagraph (a) above, <br />regardless of the phased development. <br /> <br />For phased development, the buy-in cost shall be computed based on the <br />total approved units for each phase at $3,738.52 per unit and an <br />administrative cost of $7,000 per phase. If the transactions are completed <br />in future fiscal years, the unit connection cost and the administrative cost <br />shall be adjusted annually at five (5) percent compound interest. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
