SVC proposed to continue COVID testing through from January 4, 2021 through March
31, 2021 and the County agreed to fund that effort including covering the Fairgrounds
rent. The County continues to condition their offer to cover these additional testing costs
on the City of Pleasanton continuing to be the conduit of the payments on behalf of the
County. The second amendment to the City's MOU with the County is also on the
February 16, 2021 City Council agenda for adoption. That second amendment provides
rent of up to $195,750, or $58,725 more than the proposed Agreement because the
County prepared the draft second amendment before the Fairgrounds provided a rent
estimate.
Between April 27 and December 31, 2020 SVC tested 27,078 residents.
DISCUSSION
The primary terms of the proposed Agreement include:
• Term — January 4, 2021 through March 31, 2021
• Security Deposit- $0
• Not to exceed amount of $137,025
• Proof of comprehensive general liability insurance with a limit of not less than $1
million
Submitted by: Approved by:
Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Director of Finance City Manager
Attachments:
1 .
