SECTION X <br /> <br /> DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE <br /> <br /> Any Consumer may have his Water service discon- <br />tinued by giving notice to the Department requesting dis- <br />continuance not less than two days prior to the requested <br />date of discontinuance. Each such Consumer shall pay all <br />water charges up to and including the date of discontinuance <br />stated in such notice. In any case where such notice is not <br />given, the Consumer shall be required to pay for Water serv- <br />ice until two days after the Department has knowledge that <br />the Consumer has vacated the Premises or otherwise discon- <br />tinued Water service. The City shall make a reconnection <br />charge for restoring Water service to any Consumer whose <br />Water service has been discontinued at his request. Such <br />charge shall be $5.00 for reconnection of service during <br />regular working hours and $10.00 for reconnection of service <br />at any time other than during regular working hours when the <br />Consumer has requested that reconnection be made at such <br />other time. <br /> <br /> SECTION XI <br /> <br /> COLLECTION OF WATER CHARGES <br /> <br /> 1. All water charges shall be billed to the owner <br />of the Premises upon which charges herein fixed are levied <br />and assessed or to the person who requested connection to <br />the Water System, or his successor in interest, or to any <br />person requesting that such bill be charged to him. <br /> <br /> 2. All water charges shall become due and payable <br />at the office of the Finance Department on the date of pay- <br />ment specified therein and shall become delinquent on the <br />first day of the calendar month following the date of pay- <br /> <br /> <br />
