The new City Council meeting place is now
ready and it is essential to the effective conduct of the business
of the City of Pleasanton that the City Council move its meetings
and at the earliest possible date. To that end, and for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety,
this ordinance is adopted on an urgency basis, and as such shall
take effect immediately and effect a change in the location of
the City Council meetings commencing with the meeting of April
