CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 551 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 22, ORDINANCE NO. 520, SECTION 22.104, TITLE SECTION, and SECTION 22.104a. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I. Article 22, Non-Conforming Uses, Structures, and Signs, Section 22.104, Restoration of a Damaged Structure, is hereby amended by adding the words "or sign" in the Title Section after the word, "Structure", and Subsection 22.104-a is hereby amended by adding the words, "or in the case of signs, with any of the requirements of Article 17 hereof", after the words, ~'in which the structure is located". Said Title Section and Subsection as amended shall read as follows: T~Section 22.104 - Restoration of a Damaged Structure or Sign a. Whenever a structure or sign which does not com- ply with the standards for front yard, side yards rear yard, height of structures, distances between structures, courts, or usable open space prescribed in the regulations for the district in which the structure is located, or in the case of signs, with any of the requirements of Article 17 hereof, or the use of which does not conform with the regulations for the district in which it is located, is destroyed by fire or other calamity, by the act of God, or by the public enemy to the extent of 50 per cent or less, the structure may be restored and the non- conforming use may be resumed, provided that restoration is started within one year and diligently pursued to completion.T' II. This Ordinance shall be published once in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force on the thirty-first day after adoption.
