Examples of such uses are public <br /> utility facilities, exclusive storage buildings, etc." <br /> The purpose of these provisions is to recognize that some projects may generate lower- <br /> than-typical numbers of employees than those assumed in the calculation of fee rates. <br /> And, in the event a fee reduction is approved, that there is a minimal risk the facility can <br /> be converted into a different, more intensive use. <br /> Previous Fee Reduction Approvals <br /> The City has approved reductions of the Affordable Housing Fee for past storage <br /> projects. Staff identified two past examples (in 1997 and 2002) of Affordable Housing <br /> Fee reduction requests that were reviewed and approved by the City Council, as <br /> described below in Table 1. <br /> Page 11 of18 <br />
