CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 544 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FUTURE STREET WIDTH LINES <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION I. <br /> <br /> GENERAL <br /> <br /> Section 1. Objectives. This ordinance is adopted to protect <br />and to promote the public health, safety, peace, comfort, conven- <br />ience, prosperity and general welfare. More specifically this <br />o~li~ance is adopted in order to achieve the objectives of the <br />General Plan and the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Pleasanton <br />as adopted and amended by the City Council. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Nature of the Ordinance. This ordinance shall con- <br />sist of the regulations and general descriptions contained herein <br />and a set of maps as hereinafter described. Said maps shall be <br />maintained on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Extent. This Ordinance shall apply to the herein- <br />after described streets within the City of Pleasanton and to those <br />portions of said described streets annexed to the City of Pleasan- <br />ton at a future date. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Applicability. For the purpose of measuring yard <br />dimensions and determining building lines as may be required by <br />the Zoning Ordinances and Building Codes of the City of Pleasanton <br />the future street width lines described herein shall be deemed to <br />refer to the property line and shall be used in the same manner as <br /> <br />any other existing property line. <br /> <br /> <br />
