He encouraged City Council <br /> to approve resources to reform the Pleasanton Police Department (PPD). <br /> Mayor Thorne closed public comment. <br /> Councilmember Narum expressed her support for the legislative framework, guiding principles, goals, <br /> and strategies adopted by the City Council. She expressed support for staff's recommendation. <br /> Councilmember Brown offered comments regarding SB 1120. She noted the City has an established an <br /> Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance and the issue within the bill is the consistency within the <br /> neighborhood and allowing neighbors to have input in increasing occupancy rates of an adjacent <br /> property.
