Approved the purchase of two additional UVD robots for facility disinfection due to COVID-19 and <br /> authorized the City Manager to execute a purchase order in the amount of $328,044 with Snap <br /> Solutions, Inc, for the total purchase of three UVD robots <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Pentin to approve the Consent Calendar excluding Item Nos. 04 and 05 <br /> and as noted. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> 14. Presentation of a proclamation declaring August as American Muslim Appreciation and <br /> Awareness Month <br /> Councilmember Pentin read the proclamation which was presented to Amanath Mir, Islamic Center of <br /> Zahra and Humera Nawaz, Muslim Community Center of East Bay who thanked City Council for <br /> recognizing August as Muslim Awareness Month and provided brief remarks. <br /> 15. Public Comment <br /> Vittoria Tommasini expressed concern that many residents are disregarding the Alameda County <br /> Health Order by not wearing face masks. She encouraged City Council to educate residents about the <br /> public health implications and help make Pleasanton safer. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> 16. Public Hearing: Consider adoption of a resolution to deny applications of Alaina <br /> Stewart/Bringhurst, LLC to amend the North Sycamore Specific Plan (NSSP) to modify the land <br /> use designation and to re-zone an approximately one-acre portion of the 3.28-acre parcel from <br /> Planned Unit Development-Agriculture (PUD-A) to Planned Unit Development — Medium Density <br /> Residential (PUD-MDR); thereby to not consider a Planned Unit Development (PUD) rezoning <br /> and development plan and Vesting Tentative Subdivision Map to subdivide the existing parcel into <br /> five residential lots including four new homes and one existing home, located at 990 Sycamore <br /> Road <br /> Planning and Permit Center Manager Melinda Dennis reported the item is for a five lot residential <br /> development on an existing parcel at 990 Sycamore Road owned by the Bringhurst family. She advised <br /> the entitlements include the North Sycamore Specific Plan (NSSP) Amendment, Rezoning and <br /> Development Plan, Vesting Tentative Map, and the Growth Management Allocation. She explained the <br /> site is approximately 3.2 acres in area and includes a single-family home with a detached garage and <br /> two outbuildings and presented photographs of the site. <br /> Planning and Permit Center Manager Dennis provide an overview of the NSSP Land Use Map. She <br /> reported the site is designated as Planned Unit Development (PUD) A and the NSSP requires a <br /> minimum lot size of one-acre for PUD A sites so three parcels could be accommodated.
