THE CITY OF 12 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANT0\ <br /> November 17, 2020 <br /> Human Resources <br /> TITLE: APPROVE SECOND AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT WITH RENNE PUBLIC LAW GROUP, LLP FOR LEGAL <br /> SERVICES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City requires specialized legal expertise for general advice, representation in <br /> administrative proceedings, and other legal work in the area of labor and employment <br /> on an as needed basis. The Renne Public Law Group LLP has such expertise. <br /> Therefore, staff is recommending a Second Amendment to the existing Professional <br /> Services Agreement to increase the maximum amount of the Agreement by an <br /> additional $200,000 for the remaining two years of the Agreement. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to execute a Second Amendment to the Professional <br /> Services Agreement with Renne Public Law Group LLP. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> The cost of this amendment is $200,000 over the term of the contract. This is included <br /> in the City Attorney's FY 2020/21 and FY 2021/22 budget. <br />
