FOR THE CENTENNIAL PARK BOCCE BALL <br /> COURT RENOVATION PROJECT, CIP NO. 20764 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Centennial Park Bocce Ball Court Renovation Project, CIP No. 20764, consisted of <br /> the renovation of the two existing bocce ball courts at Centennial Park. Improvements <br /> included the installation of new bocce ball court surfacing, drainage, paving, ADA <br /> access improvements, shade structures, electrical improvements, furnishings, and <br /> minor landscape and irrigation improvements. Construction of all work is complete and <br /> ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1 . Accept the improvements for the project and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice <br /> of Completion. <br /> 2. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $18,282 to Suarez & Munoz <br /> Construction, Inc. 30 days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Transfer the project balance to the General Fund - Capital Improvement Program <br /> Reserve. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for construction of this project totaled $400,000. The cost of construction was <br /> $365,633, which included the original construction contract award of $334,695, and <br /> three change orders totaling $30,938. Total project expenditures, construction, and <br /> other miscellaneous expenses totaled $367,359, leaving a project balance of$32,641 . <br /> Staff recommends the remaining project balance be returned to the General Fund - <br /> Capital Improvement Program Reserve. Project funding and expenditures are outlined <br /> in Attachment 1 . <br />
