CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 546 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.106, UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, OF ARTICLE 8, ~TI" (INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICTS, OF ORDINANCE NO. 520, ZONING ORDINANCE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I · Section 8.106, of Article 8, Ordinance No. 520, relating to the undergrounding of utilities in T'I~ (Industrial) Districts, is hereby amended by including therein a reference to I-G (General Industrial) Districts, said section as amended to read as follows:~ "Section 8.106. Underground Utilities. In I-P and I-G Distri.cts, electric and communication service: wires to a new structure shall be placed underground from the nearest utility pole. If the Director of Public Works finds, upon application by the property owner, that com- pliance is not feasible or economically justifiable, he shall permit different service arrangements. The property owner shall comply with the requirements of this section without expense to the City and shall make the necessary arrangements with the public utility involved.~' II. · This Ordinance shall be published once, within fifteen days after its adoption, in ~THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circu- lation published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force on the thirty-first day after adoption.
