CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 546 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.106, UNDERGROUND UTILITIES, <br /> OF ARTICLE 8, ~TI" (INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICTS, OF ORDINANCE <br /> NO. 520, ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> I <br /> · <br /> <br /> Section 8.106, of Article 8, Ordinance No. 520, relating to <br /> the undergrounding of utilities in T'I~ (Industrial) Districts, is <br /> hereby amended by including therein a reference to I-G (General <br /> Industrial) Districts, said section as amended to read as follows:~ <br /> <br /> "Section 8.106. Underground Utilities. <br /> <br /> In I-P and I-G Distri.cts, electric and communication service: <br /> wires to a new structure shall be placed underground from <br /> the nearest utility pole. If the Director of Public Works <br /> finds, upon application by the property owner, that com- <br /> pliance is not feasible or economically justifiable, he shall <br /> permit different service arrangements. The property owner <br /> shall comply with the requirements of this section without <br /> expense to the City and shall make the necessary arrangements <br /> with the public utility involved.~' <br /> <br /> II. <br /> <br />· This Ordinance shall be published once, within fifteen days <br /> <br /> after its adoption, in ~THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circu- <br /> lation published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be in force <br /> on the thirty-first day after adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on February 3, 1969. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on February 10, 1969, by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor <br /> Getton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ~ ) i ' ! t / <br /> <br /> <br />
