CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 537 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br /> TERRITORY, DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 55 <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> I . <br /> The City Council does hereby make the following findings : <br /> (a) On August 19 , 1968 , the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 68-144 , <br /> giving notice of the proposal to annex certain unin- <br /> habited territory to the City of Pleasanton. Said <br /> territory was designated as Annexation No. 55 and did <br /> describe the boundaries of the territory proposed to <br /> be annexed. <br /> (b) Said Resolution No. 68-144 contained notice of the time <br /> and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> hear protests made by any person owning real property <br /> within the territory proposed to be annexed. Said time <br /> of hearing was not less than fifteen nor more than sixty <br /> days from the date of passage of the Resolution. <br /> (c) On October 7 , 1968 , at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M. , in the <br /> Council chambers at the Multi-purpose Room of Valley View <br /> School, 480 Adams Court, in the City of Pleasanton, County <br /> of Alameda, State of California, the said City Council did '! <br /> conduct a public hearing and pass upon protests , there <br /> being none. By Resolution No. 68-173 , the City Council <br /> determined that protests had not been made by the owners <br /> of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory <br /> proposed to be annexed as shown- by the last equalized <br />
