In response to Councilmember Testa's inquiry, Vice Mayor Narum advised a 2-2 vote on the item would <br /> result in a continuance of the item to June 2nd. In response to Councilmember Brown's inquiry, Vice <br /> Mayor Narum feels that discussing the item during the Police Chief's onboarding does not provide him <br /> with enough time to speak to the item. <br /> Councilmember Testa noted newly appointed Police Chief David Swing is an experienced Police Chief <br /> and the subject matter should be familiar to him. Vice Mayor Narum recommended Police Chief Swing <br /> speak for himself as to his experience.
