CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> May 19, 2020 <br /> This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br /> Executive Orders N-20-20 and N-35-20 and COVID-19 pandemic protocols. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> Vice Mayor Narum called the special meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 6:00 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa <br /> Absent: Mayor Thorne <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT — None <br /> ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING: <br /> • CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — SIGNIFICANT EXPOSURE TO LITIGATION <br /> pursuant to paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) of Government Code Section 54956.9: one potential <br /> case based on the May 10, 2020 letter to the City Council from Tariq Mojaddidi, Esq. <br /> ADJOURNMENT — The special meeting adjourned at 6:23 p.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> Vice Mayor Narum called a teleconference regular meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of <br /> 7:04 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilmember Testa provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Pentin, Testa, Vice Mayor Narum <br /> Absent: Mayor Thorne <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren advised no reportable action was taken in closed session. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Councilmember Testa continued Items 1 and 7 to June 2, 2020. <br /> Councilmember Pentin continued Item No. 4 to the June 16, 2020. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1.
