would support a modification to its Sphere of Influence such that all three <br />properties are included only within Livermore's Sphere of Influence. However, <br />the City of Livermore would take the lead in securing approval for the Sphere of <br />Influence modification from Alameda LAFCo. <br />In addition, the City of Pleasanton would seek commitments from the City of <br />Livermore, to the extent permissible, to limit future city -initiated adjustments to its <br />Urban Growth Boundary in the east Pleasanton/west Livermore area, proximate <br />to the subject parcels. <br />East Pleasanton Specific Plan Participation <br />Since the properties are in close proximity to the East Pleasanton Specific Plan <br />area, the agreement would identify the City of Livermore, property owner, and <br />project developer as cooperative and constructive partners and stakeholders in <br />the specific plan process. <br />Next Steps <br />If the Council authorizes staff to proceed with developing agreements with the City of <br />Livermore and other parties, as needed. It is anticipated those would be drafted by the <br />end of this calendar year, and brought forward to the City Council for review thereafter. <br />The City of Livermore has not yet provided a timeline for the processing of any <br />applications related to the properties; however, it is expected that schedules will <br />become more clearly defined over the coming months, in conjunction with the <br />development of the agreements.
