THE CITY Of 7 <br />®L��S�4tNT�N� CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />PSeptember 1, 2020 <br />Operations Services <br />TITLE: APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />AGREEMENT WITH WRA, INC. FOR STREAM AND POND ROUTINE <br />MAINTENANCE PERMITTING SUPPORT IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,600 <br />SUMMARY <br />Staff seeks additional funding to complete the Pleasanton Stream Maintenance Project <br />(PSMP) underthe Professional Services Agreement (Agreement) with WRA, Inc.,- <br />specifically <br />nc.;specifically completing the Final Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND), <br />regulatory permitting application submittal and agency coordination process. The PSMP <br />is necessary to obtain permits from regulatory agencies to conduct maintenance in <br />stream and detention pond areas within the Citythat fall under agency jurisdiction . <br />This request results from unanticipated added project costs from reanalysis and revision <br />to the draft Biological Resources Assessment(BRA) and Draft IS/MND prompted by <br />feedback received by the regulatory permitting agencies during an interagency <br />coordination meeting conducted to review the PSMP prior to application submittal to the <br />permitting agencies. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve and authorize the City Manager to amend the Agreement with WRA, Inc., for <br />an additional $45,600, which includes a 20 percent contingency of $7,600. This brings <br />th e total n of -to -exceed con tractu al amou n t to $256,904. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The anticipated total expenditures forthis contract once amended is $256,904. The <br />added expenditures resulting from this amendment will be funded from CIP No. 20415 <br />Bi -Annual Storm Repairs/Improvements project. <br />
