related to the financial support described in this Section 2, and expenditures <br />related to logistical support (including, but not limited to, personnel costs) <br />described in Section 3, below. <br />b. Potential County of Alameda Reimbursement. The parties acknowledge that the <br />County of Alameda and Pleasanton are entering into a "Memorandum of <br />Understanding between The County of Alameda and City of Pleasanton For COVID- <br />19 Testing Services" (the "County MOU"; a copy of which has been provided to all <br />parties) for potential County of Alameda reimbursement of up to $1,168,709 for <br />eligible COVID-19 testing expenditures listed below which would reimburse costs <br />incurred beyond the $300,000 in costs to be reimbursed by Dublin, Livermore and <br />Pleasanton to Stanford — ValleyCare through August 28. 2020. <br />Eligible COVID-19 Testing Costs for County of Alameda Reimbursement <br />• COVID-19 specimen collection kits to collect samples for testing SARS-CoV- <br />2, <br />• laboratory processing through public, private or state -allocated lab processing <br />partners, <br />• personnel costs associated with collecting samples, and <br />• personal protective equipment (PPE) including N95 or higher-level respirator <br />(or face mask if respirator is not available), eye protections, gloves and gown, <br />for providers collecting specimens or within six feet of patients to maintain <br />proper infection control. <br />1. Coordination in Submission of Costs. After Dublin, Livermore and <br />Pleasanton have each reimbursed Stanford — ValleyCare for $100,000 <br />in costs as described in Subsection a., above, the parties agree that <br />Pleasanton, as the lead agency for testing facility contemplated by this <br />MOU, will coordinate with and submit additional costs to the County <br />of Alameda for potential reimbursement pursuant to the County MOU <br />consistent with the documentation and record keeping / management / <br />retention requirements from the County MOU. Pleasanton will <br />provide each city with a copy of each reimbursement request it <br />submits to the County of Alameda pursuant to the County MOU. <br />c. Notwithstanding financial support by Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton to reimburse <br />Stanford — ValleyCare for the cost of testing supplies and equipment, Stanford — <br />ValleyCare acknowledge that its employees, agents, contractors and volunteers at the <br />mobile test site are not employees of Dublin, Livermore or Pleasanton. <br />B. Section La. of the MOU is amended to read: "a. The Fairgrounds Testing Site shall <br />be under the sole and exclusive control of Stanford — ValleyCare, and, at such mobile test site, <br />Stanford — ValleyCare will provide testing for first responders, health care workers, persons with <br />recent suspected exposures to the novel coronavirus and other county residents." <br />C.
