Parking Lift Exhibit <br /> STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends the Planning Commission review the attached materials, receive public <br /> comments, and provide comments on the proposed project. As this is a workshop, no formal <br /> action will be taken. <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The applicant proposes to construct a two-story, 1,174-square-foot one-unit apartment building <br /> behind an existing commercial building on Ray Street. The project includes associated site <br /> improvements including new landscaping and vehicular parking (including a new parking lift) <br /> as described further below. The proposed improvements will be subject to Design Review by <br /> the Planning Commission. The subject Preliminary Application is being brought for a Planning <br /> Commission workshop prior to being submitted as a Design Review application for formal <br /> action by the Commission. The goal of the workshop is to review the project, hear public <br /> comment, and provide direction to the applicant and staff.
