Parking Lift Exhibit STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Planning Commission review the attached materials, receive public comments, and provide comments on the proposed project. As this is a workshop, no formal action will be taken. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The applicant proposes to construct a two-story, 1,174-square-foot one-unit apartment building behind an existing commercial building on Ray Street. The project includes associated site improvements including new landscaping and vehicular parking (including a new parking lift) as described further below. The proposed improvements will be subject to Design Review by the Planning Commission. The subject Preliminary Application is being brought for a Planning Commission workshop prior to being submitted as a Design Review application for formal action by the Commission. The goal of the workshop is to review the project, hear public comment, and provide direction to the applicant and staff.
