THE CITY OF Planning Commission Amin ° ' Agenda Report LEASANTOK June 24, 2020 Item 1 SUBJECT: Actions of the City Council June 2, 2020 Due to the Alameda County Sheriff's Curfew Order for the entire County, the June 2, 2020 City Council Meeting was cancelled. All items listed on the agenda were carried forward to the next regularly scheduled meeting on June 16, 2020. June 16, 2020 Consent Calendar: Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission Adopt a resolution authorizing the submittal of an application for, and receipt of, Local Early Action Planning (LEAP) grant funds from the State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Adopt a resolution authorizing an application with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for allocation of Transportation Development Act (TDA)Article 3 funds for Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvements at various locations Adopt a resolution approving a freeway maintenance agreement with Caltrans for Interstate 680 undercrossings and overcrossings Approve amendment to agreement with Aecom Technical Services, Inc. for a new total agreement amount not to exceed $1,721,824, for the next phase of design for the Sunol Interchange Improvement Project, CIP No. 15551 Council approved the consent calendar as submitted Public Hearing: Consider introduction of an ordinance to amend Pleasanton Municipal Code Chapter 9.32 to add a Tobacco Retailer Permit requirement and referrals to counseling for persons under age 21 in possession of tobacco products; and provide policy direction on other tobacco sales restrictions Actions of the City Council Page 1 of 2 June 24, 2020 nimum repetition of points made by previous speakers and by being as brief as possible in making their testimony. • Following public testimony,the applicant will be given the opportunity to respond to issues raised by the public.The response should be limited to five minutes. The public hearing will then be closed. The Planning Commissioners then discuss among themselves the application under consideration and act on the item. Planning Commission actions may be appealed to the City Council.Appeals must be filed with the City Clerk's Office within 15 days of the Planning Commission's action.
