PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-48 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JULIE AND REUBEN <br />BORG (BORG REDWOOD FENCING) FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-318 <br />WHEREAS, Julie and Reuben Borg (Borg Fencing) have applied for design review <br />approval to allow the construction of an approximately 19,633-square- <br />foot, two-story building and related site improvements located at 3700 <br />Boulder Court; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G-40,000 (General Industrial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 22, 2003, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved the negative declaration prepared for <br />this project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project would be <br />consistent with the appearance of the existing light industrial buildings on <br />Boulder Court and other buildings in the area, and the building and site <br />design would be practical as well as attractive. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PDR-318, the application of Julie and Reuben Borg (Borg <br />Fencing) for design review approval to allow the construction of an <br />approximately 19,633-square-foot, two-story building and related site <br />improvements located at 3700 Boulder Court, subject to the conditions shown <br />in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
