PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-46
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF
ROSS AND ELIZABETH WESTBROOK FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION
TO AN PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE
PUD-82-16-15M
WHEREAS, Ross and Elizabeth Westbrook have applied for a major modification to an
approved Planned Unit Development (Gray Fox Planned Unit
Development PUD-82-16) to allow several accessory structures to be
located outside of the building envelope (including the retention of an
existing play structure and construction of a carport, two pool cabanas, an
arbor, and related structures) at 802 Gray Fox Circle; and
WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low
Density Residential) District; and
WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 22, 2003, the Planning
Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and
recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and
WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no
additional environmental document was prepared for this project; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification
would be consistent with other recently approved projects in the
subdivision and would not alter the natural topographical features of the
area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:
Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD-82-16-15M, the application of Ross
and Elizabeth Westbrook for a major modification to an approved Planned
Unit Development (Gray Fox Planned Unit Development PUD-82-16) to
allow several accessory structures to be located outside of the building
envelope (including the retention of an existing play structure and
construction of a carport, two pool cabanas, an arbor, and related
structures) at 802 Gray Fox Circle, subject to the conditions shown in
Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference.
Section 2.
