THE CITY OF OB <br /> 11NI'��" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> May 19, 2020 <br /> City Manager <br /> Housing Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE 5-YEAR CONSOLIDATED PLAN (FY 2020-2024) AND ANNUAL <br /> ACTION PLAN (FY 2020-2021) FOR THE USE OF FEDERAL COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton will receive $342,214 in federal CDBG funds for federal Fiscal Year 2020 (2020- <br /> 21). At the May 19, 2020 meeting, the City Council is expected to take action regarding the <br /> allocation of federal CDBG funds for FY 2020 as part of the allocation of Housing and Human <br /> Services Grant (HHSG) funding to local non-profit agencies. This report summarizes the 5- <br /> Year Consolidated Plan for 2020-2024 and the Annual Action Plan for FY 2020 that must be <br /> submitted to HUD in order for the City to receive its FY 2020 allocation of CDBG funds. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the 5-Year Consolidated Plan for FY 2020-2024 and the Annual Action Plan for the <br /> federal Fiscal Year 2020, and direct staff to submit to HUD by the applicable deadline. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The approval of the annual Action Plan will not have a direct fiscal impact on the City but is <br /> required for the City to receive $342,214 in CDBG funds for FY 2020 (2020/21). <br />
