Linda Mandelini, President, Eden Housing, expressed her support for developing the East <br /> Pleasanton Specific Plan and encouraged the development of affordable housing. <br /> Vaughn Wolffe spoke to City Council regarding Cryobattery Liquid Air Energy Storage, encouraged <br /> City Council to investigate high-speed rail as traffic on 1-80 continues to grow and encouraged the <br /> City to develop more affordable housing. <br /> Kelly Mokashi expressed her support for a more comprehensive process to solve the complexity of <br /> the issues surrounding the EPSP. She encouraged City Council to develop a decision-making <br /> process that includes yhe public. <br /> Kelly Cousins expressed her opposition for developing the EPSP without having the City's RHNA <br /> numbers. She expressed concern that Planning Commission meetings are not transparent enough <br /> for public scrutiny. <br /> In response to Councilmember Narum's inquiry, Assistant City Manager Dolan advised the Housing <br /> Task Force meetings were not televised and was unsure about a recording. Councilmember Brown <br /> noted they, along with the Planning Commission meetings, are open to public. <br /> Nancy Krakauer expressed her concern that Ponderosa Homes was involved in the planning <br /> process and expressed her opposition for developing the EPSP. <br /> Jennifer Whitehouse expressed her support for developing the EPSP and encouraged the <br /> development of affordable housing. <br /> Evan Shelan expressed his support for developing the EPSP and encouraged City Council to <br /> continue to make progress for Pleasanton. <br /> Terry Young expressed her support for developing the EPSP and encouraged the development of <br /> affordable housing. <br /> Cliff MacDonald expressed his support for developing the EPSP and encouraged City Council to <br /> plan for the future. <br /> In response to Councilmember Narum's inquiry, City Manager Fialho reported the City does not <br /> have a plan with Ponderosa Homes. <br /> Dale Bowman expressed his support for developing the EPSP and encouraged City Council to <br /> develop affordable housing for veterans. <br /> Bob Russman expressed his support for developing the EPSP and encouraged City Council to plan <br /> ahead of the RHNA numbers. <br /> In response to Councilmember Narum's inquiry, City Manager Fialho advised the Housing Element <br /> will look at additional sites for RHNA development and the EPSP will be included. <br /> Mark Linsky expressed his support for developing the EPSP and encouraged City Council to plan <br /> for future growth. <br /> Kathy Layman, President Sunflower Hill Board of Directors, expressed her support for developing <br /> the EPSP and encouraged the development of affordable housing for special needs residents.
