Resolution No. PC-2003-32 <br />Page 8 <br />measures to protect pipes from freezing shall require approval by the Planning <br />Director prior to use; at no time shall fabric or other material not designed and/ or <br />intended for this purpose be wrapped around or otherwise placed on these devices. <br />All backflow prevention devices shall be shown on the plans submitted for <br />issuance of building permits together with screening mechanism and/ or weather <br />protection devices. Proposed screening and weather protection devices shall be <br />reviewed for conformity to these requirements and approved by the Planning <br />Director prior to issuance of a building permit. <br />Other General Planning Conditions <br />29. All trash and refuse shall be contained completely within enclosures architecturally <br />compatible with the main structure. The materials and color of the enclosure walls <br />shall match the building walls and the gates shall be metal or solid wood. The <br />design of the enclosures shall be shown on the plans submitted for the issuance of <br />building permits and shall be subject to the approval of the Planning Director and <br />Fire Chief. Trash containers shall be stored within the enclosure at all times, <br />except when being unloaded. <br />30. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the approved building colors and <br />materials for the building shall be indicated on the building permit plan set. Colors <br />and materials shall be consistent with the approved colors and materials. <br />31. All demolition activities and all construction activities shall be limited to the hours <br />of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. No construction shall be <br />permitted on Federal Holidays. All construction equipment must meet DMV noise <br />standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br />32. There shall be no truck deliveries, parking lot sweeping, or garbage pick-up <br />between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. <br />33. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as <br />living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be <br />removed from the site at the end of each workday. <br />34. A no time shall balloons, banners, pennants, or other attention-getting devices be <br />utilized on the site except as allowed by Sections 18.96.060 and 18.116.040 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance for grand openings and temporary events. <br />35. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. <br />
