RESOLUTION NO. 20-1146 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION FOR <br /> THE TERM OF JUNE 1, 2020 THROUGH MAY 31, 2023 <br /> WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers'Association expires on May 31, 2020; and, <br /> WHEREAS, representatives from the City of Pleasanton have met and conferred with <br /> representatives of Pleasanton Police Officers' Association and prepared a successor agreement <br /> covering the period June 1, 2020 through May 31, 2023. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association <br /> for the term commencing June 1, 2020 through May 31, 2023. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on the 21st day of April 2020. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 21st day of April <br /> 2020, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> aren Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Daniel Sodergren, City Attorney <br />
