10 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> °--' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLE ASANTON. <br /> April 21, 2020 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> IN THE AMOUNT OF $350,000 FOR FY 2020/21 OPERATION AND <br /> MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE WATER AND SEWER SYSTEMS <br /> AT CASTLEWOOD SERVICE AREA <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton (City) entered into an agreement with Alameda County (County) <br /> to provide operation and maintenance services for the water and sewer systems located <br /> in the Castlewood Service Area (CSA). The agreement spans three years from July 1, <br /> 2017 to June 30, 2020. The current not-to-exceed amount of the agreement is <br /> $950,000. <br /> The County desires the City to continue to provide operation and maintenance services <br /> for FY 2020/21 by extending the current agreement to July 1, 2021 and increasing the <br /> not-to-exceed amount by $350,000 for a total of $1,300,000 over the term of the <br /> Agreement and any amendments. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the agreement <br /> with the County in the amount of $350,000 for FY 2020/21 for operation and <br /> maintenance services for the water and sewer systems at the Castlewood Service Area. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact to the City caused by this amendment. The City will be <br /> reimbursed for services provided to the County under this amendment. <br />
