Resolution No. PC-2003-31 <br />Page 2 <br />The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the <br />applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />The site's zoning regulations conditionally permit the operation of a grocery <br />store. Granting a conditional use permit to the applicant for a grocery store <br />would be consistent with the City's ability to regulate zoning as listed in the <br />Municipal Code. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed use would be <br />compatible with surrounding businesses and would not detrimentally affect <br />the surrounding uses or properties. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PCUP-90, the application of Jahana Fumio for conditional use <br />permit approval to operate a grocery store in an existing tenant space located <br />at 1989 Santa Rita Road, Suite D, in the Mission Plaza Shopping Center, <br />subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part <br />of this case by reference. <br />Section 2.
